Answer: The power plug is off or electric source disconnects.
Solution: Check the power socket and mains switch
Summary: This problem is the commonest. Although some customers do not think it is a problem, according to Jinggang’s experience in after-sales services over the years, this problem is the commonest, accounting for more than 30% of all problems reported. Therefore, when all indictor lights do not work, check the power supply firstly.
Case: Last spring, Jinggang received a call from a customer in Inner Mongolia, saying there was no problem during commissioning at the retailer’s place, but the new machine did not work in the factory after plugging in. The customer hoped Jinggang to help solve the problem as soon as possible as they had to deliver a large number of ordered products on time.
After listening to the problem description, Jinggang’s after-sales service personnel immediately thought it was due to power supply disconnection. However, the customer said the power supply had no problem because other machines were operating; besides, a new socket had been equipped for this machine. The customer believed there was something wrong with the machine because an electrician proved that the machine’s circuit failed after examination.
After discussions, Jinggang’s engineers called local after-sales technical personnel and they analyzed the failure jointly. Afterwards, the after-sales technical personnel rushed to the customer’s factory at night. Through inspection, the personnel found that there was voltage, but the machine did not work; and the multimeter did not work when connected. Then the personnel replaced the new socket with an old one and the machine worked! It turned out to be the new socket’s problem as a screw was loose.
Suggestion: When you encounter a problem, remember to check the power supply firstly.
Answer: This problem is mostly caused by disqualified anodized aluminum, or improper temperature setting.
Solution: Replace it with high-quality anodized aluminum. Read the instructions for anodized aluminum carefully, and set safe and effective temperature
Answer: The temperature is too high for hot stamping
Solution: Reduce hot stamping temperature appropriately.
Answer: (1) The hot stamping temperature is too low; (2) low pressure; (3) wrong model of anodized aluminum or disqualified anodized aluminum; (4) problem of the substrate surface.
Solution: Increase the temperature and pressure appropriately; replace anodized aluminum; when encountering the fourth problem, it is recommended to post the substrate to Jinggang, as well as the invoice or a valid copy of the invoice. Jinggang will solve the problem within a shortest period of time.
Answer: (1) The temperature is too high; (2) Paper feeding speed is too slow.
Solution: Reduce the temperature; adjust the feeding time.
Answer: (1) The hot stamping plate has quality defects; (2) The temperature is too high; (3) The pressure is too large.
Solution: Replace the hot stamping plate; adjust the temperature and pressure.
Summary: A majority of faults and problems are caused by customers’ insufficient operational experience. A number of other problems are caused by quality defects and unreasonable design structure of some hot stamping machines.
